Landscaping Guidelines
Owners and renters may not make any landscaping changes without first submitting an LPR (Landscaping Proposal Review) application to the Landscaping Committee and Raintree Board for approval. These guidelines will help you put your application together (you use this application if you wish to personally update the landscaping around your condo unit at your own expense).

Smoke Detectors & Fire Extinguishers
Help prevent and be prepared for potential fires in your condo unit by installing smoke detectors and having a fire extinguisher readily available. Regular maintenance of these devices is critical. Dryer Vents and Ducts
Lint and other debris can build up in your dryer hose and vent duct. The debris causes reduced air flow that traps exhaust gases. If the dryer hose and vent duct are not cleaned and inspected every year, this could create a fire and mold problems.
Water Shut-Off Valves
Each owner and renter should be familiar with the water shut-off valve location of their unit. You should also familiarize yourself with how to turn the valve off and on.
Termite and Pest Prevention
Massey Services provides both termite and pest prevention for Raintree. A technician is on property weekly to do exterior prevention treatments. If inside service is needed, Massey will come to your unit at no additional charge.
Air Conditioning Units
Air conditioning units depend on proper care and regular maintenance. Regular cleaning decreases the chance of a freon leak and other damages, and will extend the life of your unit.
Dusk to Dawn Lights
All condo units without garages are equipped with ‘dusk to dawn’ lights. Please ensure that the switch is turned on inside the unit to help maximize their effectiveness.
Fireplaces
Fireplaces that are used need to be inspected and cleared for use on a regular basis.
