A Thank You for Your Donations & Video

Back in December, the Raintree community collected donations for Colin’s church in Jamaica that included canned and boxed foods, plus school supplies and games for the children. Colin went home for a three-week vacation with all of our donations and returned with some wonderful photos, a letter from the pastor and a video to share with us. Thank you all for your generosity!

Landscape Committee Improvements Continue

The Landscape Committee has been busy picking out some new replacement shrubs and plants (upwards of 100 of them). We are able to purchase these at wholesale prices, and pick them up ourselves. Colin has been busy installing these around the community, as directed by the Landscape Committee, to replace some long-dead plantings. Thank you to Colin for all his planting work!

Raintree Social Brings Community Together

A Raintree Poolside Social was held on March 14th for our community. It was a beautiful afternoon and approximately 55 people attended! There was plenty of food to go around. Thank you to Linda Holmes, Tom and Linda Rawson and to all who helped organize and setup this social afternoon.

Raintree organizes these social gatherings from time to time. Gatherings are announced at Board Meetings, through Raintree emails, and posts at the mailboxes. See you next time!

Raintree Participates in This Year’s Holiday Golf Cart Parade

This year, Raintree decorated the work cart and participated in the Christmas golf cart parade! The work cart (with trailer attached) was decorated and lighted, and was honored to carry Santa and many gift packages throughout the route. Thank you to Colin for getting it cleaned up. Bev and Tom added a little magic to make the cart extra festive. Past resident Rick Cobb was Santa Claus, and Colin and Tom were his helpers. It was a big surprise and hit for all the adults and children on the route!

Front Entrance Palm Replaced & Installed

Budget Approval Meeting on November 8th is now ZOOM ONLY

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Raintree Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, November 8th at 7 p.m. will be a ZOOM meeting only. After the bad experience last month, we spent a couple of hours attempting to set up a live meeting with Zoom, but were unsuccessful. We hope to get this working for future meetings. Again, this meeting will be a ZOOM meeting only, no in-person meeting.
