The new shed was installed this week at the end of Cottage Grove Court. Dave did a great job painting it to match the Raintree colors. Check out the photos. This area was previously cleared by a few residents to make room for the shed.
Last month Raintree’s Landscaping Committee transplanted shrubs and other plants from the new shed area at the end of Cottage Grove to the small park located next to Building #2. Be sure to check out the photos! This was a great way to use existing plants for other areas of the community. So far, it looks like all the plants are doing well in their new locations.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd, DynaFire will perform intermittent testing of the audibility of the fire alarm system in PHASE 4 (Cottage Grove Court) only. Access to all units and rooms will be required. This is only a test! What phase am I in?
Allan Amer is organizing a golf outing right here at Ventura Country Club for Raintree residents (owners and renters) on Wednesday, March 13th. Event starts at 1:00pm. There are still some foursomes open for non-serious, fun-loving golfers! Cost per person is $23.

If you have any treasures for sale …. get ready for the Annual Community Yard Sale! The community yard sale will take place on March 23rd from 8am-4pm. Look for more details in the Ventura Venture.
On Friday, February 1st, Raintree’s landscaping service, Tri-Choice, installed mulch around the community. It looks great!
Voting homeowners elected Allan Amer to the Raintree Board of Directors during the Annual Meeting on Monday, December 10th. Allan fills a position vacated by Alison Wanta who served as Secretary for four terms. Alison will continue to maintain the community website and email notifications per the request of the Board. Thank you for participating in this election!
There is one position open on the Raintree Board of Directors and two volunteers have expressed an interest in the open position. A voting ballot was sent to all homeowners back in November. If you did not mail it in, bring it to the Annual Meeting that will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018, 7pm at the Clubhouse.
If you are unable to attend, fill out the proxy form (also included in the mailing) and give the form to a neighbor who will be attending the meeting. It is important for homeowners to participate in the selection of their Board representatives.
Allan Amer is organizing a community party for Raintree residents (owners and renters) that will be held in the Ventura ballroom on Monday, January 28th from 5:00pm until 10:15pm. There will be a buffet, music, cash bar (at Happy Hour prices!), and a silent and live auction. Cost per person is $25. Proceeds from the auctions will be used to pay for the music.

Large unwanted items such as mattresses, sofas, and other household furniture are ending up in the Raintree dumpsters.
